Women in God’s Service

 

  1. WINGS- is SonRise church's Women's Ministry.  It is a ministry comprised of every women at our church.  If you are a woman who attends this church we consider you a vital part of WINGS.  We invite you to become involved.
  2. The foundation of our ministry is the belief that women are important in God's eyes and are vital in his Kingdom, that He views us as special and He desires to have a close relationship with us (Proverbs 31:10-30).
  3. The Goal of WINGS is to help each woman find, develope, and fulfill the ministry that God has called her for (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
  4. WINGS strives to create an atmosphere where women can realize spiritual maturity and fellowship, develope their leadership skills, and minister to the church, community, and the world.  Women are encouraged to accept their responsibilities as women of God as laid out in Romans 12.
  5. WINGS is designed for women to find and create rich, meaningful relationships with other ladies by demonstrating the love of Jesus.
  6. WINGS meets the 1st Tuesday of every month at SonRise for a time of fellowship, fun, and faith building.  Watch your bulletin and website for annoucements of upcoming WINGS events and Bible studies.
  7. Wings hosts a prayer breakfast the 2nd Saturday of every month 9-11am.  We meet at the church unless announced otherwise.
  8. Keep an eye on the chruch bulletin and church website for announcements of upcoming WINGS events and Bible studies.
